Making Your Own Christmas Wreath

by Mel Jones on September 11, 2021

Bring a special touch to your favourite festive season by creating your own Christmas treat, it's easier than you think!

What you'll need:

  1. Chose your favourite faux wreath in any colour (we love white,

    green, red berry and neutral)
  2. Secateurs
  3. Florist wire
  4. A selection of pine cones, floral natives and baubles

Step 1:

Using a pair of secateurs, cut florist wire into 10cm long strips.

Step 2:

Begin to layer the baubles, natives and pine cones around the wreath, working in sections. Once you're satisfied with the composition of your decorations thread them through the foliage of the wreath and fasten with florist wire, trimming off excess wire as you go. Continue all the way around your wreath.

Step 3:

To hang your wreath, take a ribbon and loop it through the middle of the wreath, bringing both ends together at the top and tying into a knot or bow. Place the wreath in your chosen position using a section of ribbon at the back of the wreath, and enjoy!
